Women in AV are pleased to reveal its mentees and mentors for the first mentoring scheme for women in the AV industry. The programme will see experienced leaders from the industry guide 19 women at varying levels of seniority, offering their expertise, knowledge and support.
The six month programme has three main strands: a monthly session with a mentor; a monthly meet up with fellow mentees where they present on their part of the AV sector and thirdly additional networking events and workshops with guest speakers.

ABOUT WAVE
The Women in AV community, originally founded by Jennifer Willard in the US, and overseen by Abi Brown in the UK since September 2014 (with the assistance of Pat Deeley among others) was created to educate, support and inspire women across the AV industry through collaboration, networking and mentoring opportunities. Through the generous support of organisations who are involved with AV, home automation, technology, broadcast and more, we hold events throughout the year which encourage our members to get together. Over the past four years our meetings have increasingly grown in size and we’ve attracted attendees from a range of positions, including Managing Directors, Sales Directors, Marketing/PR, Business Developers, Technical Engineers, Operations, Project & Service Delivery plus Finance and general support.
Membership to WAVE is free and details are available here: http://womeninavuk.com/
