LAUSANNE, Switzerland, March 10, 2022 – OKAST, the fast growing SaaS solution for publishing white-label live and video streaming platforms, has entered a strategic partnership with leading server-side-ad-insertion (SSAI) technology provider, Ad Insertion Platform (AIP). The alliance will allow AIP to integrate its SSAI technology into OKAST’s platform as well as sell OKAST customers’ advertising inventory, supporting OKAST’s expansion of ad-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) and its Free Ad-supported Streaming TV (FAST) channels.
Launched four years ago, OKAST has grown quickly, driven by the surge in online video consumption due to the Covid pandemic and demand for live streaming. This growth has consolidated OKAST’s status as a leading SaaS solution in Europe for creating white-label platforms via a flexible and robust tool, enabling the deployment of FAST channels and OTT platforms on web, mobile or TV applications with an extremely competitive time to market.
The integration of AIP’s SSAI platform DAIConnectâ will enable OKAST’s customers to insert dynamic ads into their video content, while ensuring the best user experience. DAIConnect offers flexibility and scalability and is fully agnostic, allowing customers to work with any SSP or ad server. With “AIP Monetiz”, its video ad monetization services, AIP can manage OKAST customers’ advertising inventory by selling the complete or unsold inventory to improve advertising yield and maximize fill rate.
“Our partnership with AIP is long term and strategic,” said Cédric Monnier, CEO of OKAST. “Our aim is to complement each other’s’ product offerings to help our clients to grow by benefiting from all business model opportunities. AIP is a key technology partner, and we are keen to build the future together.”
“With our SSAI and monetization services, OKAST will enable publishers and broadcasters to unleash their full potential and unlock new inventory, and will benefit from an all-in-one offering that’s fully integrated,” said Laurent Potesta, CEO, Ad Insertion Platform. “This collaboration will further strengthen our best-in-class ad insertion solution and continue our mission to improve SSAI technology and ad revenues for our partners and end users.”
