dock10 launches Charity Matched funding and Volunteering Days for all employees

Manchester, UK – 28 September 2021 – dock10, the UK’s leading television facility, has today announced a new employee charity scheme that will support its staff’s efforts to raise thousands of pounds and donate hundreds of volunteering days for worthy causes.

In the new scheme of Charitable Matched Funding and Volunteering Days, every year each member of staff can receive matched funding of up to £250 to boost their fundraising efforts and can also take two days to work as a volunteer for a charitable organisation or project.

Andrew Culley, COO at dock10, said: “We are very proud of the charitable projects that dock10 has supported over the last 10 years. These have included renovating a home for a vulnerable women’s charity, a sensory garden makeover for a local school, supporting the homeless charity Barnabus with donations, collection points and Christmas day lunch sponsorship, and collecting hundreds of toys for the Wood Street Mission Christmas Toy Appeal. We will continue to provide support for all these projects.

“Over the last 18 months, COVID restrictions have prevented us from doing many of our normal charitable activities. During this time many charities have suffered through a lack of donations and an inability to do their great work, but I have been pleased to see so many of our team stepping up to support charitable projects. This new scheme at dock10 is a permanent way to ensure we can support our staff in supporting so many worthy causes that is relevant to them, helping to raise thousands of pounds in sponsorship and donating hundreds of days of help.”
