ALAMEDA, USA – Sep 06, 2021 – Clear-Com® will return to DSEI Connect 2021 from September 14 to September 17, exhibiting on booth HS-250. DSEI looks a bit different this year, returning to ExCel London for the live component, while also offering a virtual program for those who are unable to join in-person. Clear-Com will be showcasing several key technologies highlighting Trilogy™’s Mercury™ Interface Unit (MIU) and the award-winning FreeSpeak II® Digital Wireless Intercom System across security and defence-specific applications.
Clear-Com is a longtime manufacturer of critical communications systems for military, aerospace and government applications where secure, reliable, low latency comms are absolutely crucial for successful operations. Clear-Com systems are ideally suited for Ground Control Stations, Cross Domain Solutions, Training and Simulation, Internal Communication Systems (ICS) for land and maritime and Unmanned Systems Ground Control Stations (GCS)applications.
The Trilogy Mercury Interface Unit is a multi-purpose tool that provides multi-channel real-time voice communication, radio interoperability, conventional and VoIP telephony, and other capabilities over terrestrial and/or satellite networks. The MIU acts as a versatile audio processing unit and IP gateway allowing a wide range of external devices to be connected to the intercom network and is most often used in Ground Control Stations, Cross Domain Solutions, Radio Interfacing and Bridging, providing Multi Level Security solutions and Test and Evaluation scenarios.
Integrating a FreeSpeak II digital wireless intercom system with the MIU can expand communication to individuals who require mobility. Utilizing a distributed antenna system, FreeSpeak II provides a strong wireless connection over a large coverage area making it an ideal wireless solution for military and government applications. Taking advantage of the license free 1.9 and 2.4 GHz bands, FreeSpeak II can be deployed almost anywhere in the world. Use case scenarios could include Clean Rooms and Satellite Assembly/Test Environments, Training and Simulation, Test and Evaluation, Flight Line Operations, Hazardous Material Handling and Unmanned Systems Support Work.
“The security and defense space remains one of the most important for meeting customers face-to-face to discuss their critical communications needs. We’re looking forward to providing our customers with a diverse set of applicable communication solutions for this marketplace,” said Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Chris Willis.
