DAIConnect Platform enhances opportunities for targeted ad insertion, viewer personalization and content monetization

LAUSANNE, Switzerland, 1 September 2022Ad Insertion Platform (AIP) is highlighting its full range of capabilities for helping broadcasters, operators, rightsholders and content owners seamlessly deliver ad-supported video content to multiple platforms at IBC 2022. The company is demonstrating its DAIConnect® platform as a comprehensive solution for managing server-side ad insertions (SSAI) for live and on-demand content.

The patented technology enables dynamic and personalized insertion of video advertising via HLS and MPEG-DASH protocols, guaranteeing a best-in-class end-user experience without buffering or latency issues. The platform includes a full suite of multi-purpose, fully integrated components, including:

  • Ad Break Composer for creating, editing and applying rules for each ad break and each user based on multiple parameters.
  • DAI Manifest Manipulator to manipulate and manage the HLS or MPEG-DASH manifest for each user to enable one-to-one targeting ad insertion as well as provide a monitoring interface for quality control
  • DAI Optimizer to optimize the monetization of the created ad inventory across AIP’s ad network. 
  • DAI Insights for storing, analyzing and processing data coming from AdTech components or the video delivery part.
