BVE, the premier event for the UK broadcast, entertainment and media technology industries, approached Bubble Communications to publicise the show and run its busy press office.
To position BVE as ‘must-attend’ industry event where leaders from the broadcast, entertainment and media space come together to network, get up to speed on new technology and share knowledge To plan, organise and manage an informative and comfortable press office.
STRATEGY & PLAN
Bubble worked with BVE on identifying the key trends in the sector and worked through where and how these were being addressed during the show. Securing thought leadership pieces and features in key media titles, Bubble placed event manager Dan Sacchelli at the centre of the conversation, establishing both the show and its organisers as industry experts. Also key to the show’s success was the hive of excitement in the months running up to the event. Bubble ascertained the news emanating from the show and worked with exhibitors to keep the momentum and buzz high. Bubble briefed BVE’s operations team on the requirements for press whilst they are on site. Having run the BVE press office for the past 12 years, Bubble has an in-depth knowledge of the requirements of journalists and how to help them to effectively work and report back on the show.
BVE experienced a high volume of coverage across all tier one trade media titles. Pushing BVE’s event manager, Dan Sacchelli, as an industry expert, further underlined BVE as a credible organisation that is committed to and knowledgeable about the industry that it serves. BVE saw an upswing in C-level attendees for 2017, which led to high-level conversations on the show floor and rebooking’s from the majority of exhibitors for 2018.
