Avid at B.V.E 2016

Background

The global specialist in video and audio production technology Avid Technology approached Bubble to manage their participation at BVE 2016.

Objectives

To raise the profile of Avid at the show in order to demonstrate their wide knowledge of and support for the broadcast market.

Strategy & Plan

Bubble identified the key requirements for the show – a booth for product demonstrations, a large branded VIP area, two whisper suites, video advertising and speaking opportunities for the post-production theatre. Bubble handled the commercial negotiation with the show organisers to secure all of the above at a substantial discount. A 30sqm booth design was agreed with the organisers along with branding for the 165sqm VIP Lounge with catering and private area for Avid guests.

Bubble secured professionals from the post production industry to speak in the Avid sessions at the show theatre and supplied the material for the overhead LED advertising cube. In addition, a pre- and post-show mailer campaign was designed and managed.

Results

With a defined budget, Bubble achieved a huge impact for Avid Technology. The sales team was able to hold private meetings in the two Avid branded whisper suites; the demo team was able to show an important cloud editing development on the booth; meetings with key partners and clients were held in the private area within the Avid VIP Lounge and the sessions in the post production theatre were over-subscribed.
